Congratulations to Tony Joubert, who has been awarded this year’s Services Recognition Trophy. The Services Recognition Golf Day, which commenced at Sorrento Golf Club in 2006, features a prestigious trophy donated by the late former President, Major Gen David Butler OAM. Initially held around Anzac Day until 2013, the event now takes place on the nearest Wednesday to Anzac Day, in conjunction with the popular monthly “Cock of the Walk” golf and dinner. This designation honours the contributions of many members who have served in the Military Services. To claim victory in this event, participants must enter and attend both the golf day and the dinner and presentation. 

Tony Joubert triumphed with an impressive score of 40 points, demonstrating exceptional consistency by achieving 20 points on each side.

Congratulations to Tony once again on winning this trophy.
