Robert Corke wins his first President’s Trophy

Robert Corke emerged victorious in this year’s Presidents Trophy, securing the victory with a score of 73 points. Commencing the event with exceptional form, Corke amassed 22 points on his initial nine holes. Subsequently, he concluded his final three nine holes with consecutive scores of 17, resulting in round 1 scores of 39 and round 2 scores of 34.
The Presidents Cup is a two-round, 18-hole stableford tournament held on consecutive Saturdays. The winner is determined by the best 36-hole stableford score.
In a close second place, Marc Johnson, a highly consistent player of Sorrento Golf Club, showcased his knowledge of the course by scoring 37 points in round 1 and 35 points in round 2, ultimately finishing one point behind Corke with a total of 72 points.
Richard Levine, who finished in third place after a round 1 of 39 points. In his second round, Levine managed to score 32 points, finishing with a total of 71 points.
