Women’s Pennant Round 1

Our Women’s Pennant team played their first round on Sunday at Cardinia Beaconhills.
Some of us found it more challenging than others but we started our season with a solid 4/1 win against Flinders.
Pia Perkins and Julie Martin both had convincing wins beating their opponents 6/5 whilst the rest of us finished on the 16th, 17th, and 18th holes with a solid result.
Next Sunday we will play The National at Mornington with a very early start at 7.15am. We also have our second Pennant team playing against The Valley at Rosebud North Course 12.48 tee off. I wish them all the very best for their match. A big thank you as usual to our caddies who always look after us so well.
